Services other than booking of mail items, financial transactions like Money Order and Bills Payment are come under the category Miscellaneous Services in CSI Point of Sale.
Main Features of Miscellaneous Services
1. Registered or walk in customer can avail miscellaneous services
2. Miscellaneous Services include –
i. Post Box and Post Bag
ii. Direct Post, Business Post
iii. Tender Application Fee, Earnest Money Deposit
iv. Pledge Fee
v. Cable TV Grant
vi. Postal Identification Card
vii. Recall of Article
3. Both Registered and non-registered articles can be selected for Business Post
4. Customer can send Direct Post as a local or intercity.
5. Supervisor approval is required for Post Box, Post Bag
NOTE
· Only one type of miscellaneous service can be done in one single transaction
· Bill can be cancelled at any point of time before completion the transaction
· Bill can be held and resumed later on within same shift.
· Domestic articles, Domestic Money Orders and International Money Orders can be recalled through ‘Inland Recall Articles’
· Tender Application Fee and Earnest Money Deposit are related to tender applications and security money deposits
