What are the Procedure for Paying PLI Premium Online

Inorder to make transaction online and to see your credit particulars registration of policy is compulsory.  Please click on the link given below to access the registration webpage. Then click on “generate customer id” and fill the details like policy number, name of policy holder, mobile number, email address, etc and then click submit button.

If your mobile number and email address is incorporated in our system, only then the submission will be successful. If the submission is successful, customer id and a link will be sent to your email address within next 24 hours. The link will be valid for next 72 hours. Within that period, you are to set your password as per your choice by clicking that link sent to your email address.
Thereafter you can login to your account at any time and can perform all types of business relating to PLI and RPLI. You can pay your policy premium using debit or credit cards without paying any extra bank charges.
If the mobile number and email address are not incorporated to the database you have to contact your nearest Head Post Office to incorporate the same in the system, you can also send your application through mail to the nearest PLI CPC.
How to Update Phone Number, Email Id for Online Access
To incorporate the mobile number and email address in the System the following procedure has to be followed.

1.  The policy holder should submit an application to the PLI CPC located at the Head Post Office in person or through email stating his/her policy number, Mobile number and email address (Email address should be written on capital letters so that no mistake will occur by the CPC personnel while data entry is to be done) requesting incorporation of the same in the System. For this, the customer has to enclose self-attested photo copies of policy bond or first page of the Premium Receipt Book and identity proof (photo copy Aadhar or Voter Card) along with the application.

2.     The CPC personnel will then follow the procedure as same as change of address done. i.e., scan the documents, do ECMS and Data Entry and then Quality Check and finally approval.
3.     After approval the CPC personnel should send the customer a reply stating that your mobile number and email address has successfully been incorporated in the System hence you can register your policy online and can transact online without approaching any Post Office.
